Movie Review

In the past two weeks we've really been hitting the movies hard. So I'd like to share with you my opinion on 'em...mostly because I have nothing else to share.
My Bloody Valentine- sick sick sick...bloody as it sounds. 3D made it much worse, and I hate not knowing what's gonna jump out from behind the corner. I will give it this, you go back and forth on who the villain is...and that part was good. I give it a 2 out of 5.
The Curious Case of Benny Button- Freaking great chick flick. Cried like a baby during most of it, had a Forest Gump feel to it, however it lasted for 3 hours...and maybe I'd rather had rented it at a later date because of the length. 4 out of 5.
Now for my Rentals:
Brides head Revisited- Regret I spent the dollar at the red box. I swear it felt like 5 hours of gay gay gay drunk drunk gay. And I have nothing against gays...but don't fake that you're not one. Had an old-timmy Talented Mr. Ripply feel to it. BUT BORING. 0 out of 5. At least the big house was cool to see.
My Best Friend's Girl- I hate Dane Cook there is nothing funny about his stand up. This movie however was cute even if you knew right where the plot was going. 3.5 out of 5.
Momma Mia- I expected bad. I mean it's a musical to ABBA...way before my time. I thought, well better rent it while the hubby is at work. If I hadn't been sitting on the floor crafting I'd probably turned it off in the first 5 minutes. DON'T waste your time..buy the soundtrack if you like ABBA, but the movie was the worst plot ever. 1 out of 5.
The Women- I love most of the girls that are in this movie...but the storyline wasn't that great. I guess because I watch so many of the "Sex in the City" "Lipstick Jungle" "Army Wives" "Starter Wife" that I'm burned out on the plot. I can see where it might be liberating for a middle aged woman going through a divorce...but not so much for me. 3.5 out of 5.

And there you have it...my movie reviews. Hope they help you next time you're at the Red Box.

PS
I didn't care at ALL for Momma Mia or the Women!
